Tim is a subject matter expert and consultant on County Lines and Gangs, having had 33 years’ experience in law enforcement. His last role was to create and manage the National County Line Coordination Centre in response to the growing threat of county lines.

Tim previously led the response to gang crime within the Metropolitan police devising the gang operating model and pioneering the use of modern slavery legislation against gang leaders and county line organisers. He has presented overseas on gang crime reduction, specifically in relation to exploitation of youths from both a drug supply and gang perspective.

• Delivery of pro-active safeguarding model linked to county lines and gangs utilising preventative legislation
• Advising and supporting public/private/voluntary sector organisations in understanding county line and gang association
• Presenting and developing solution-based action plans to organisations wrestling with the victim/suspect challenge arising from youths within gangs and county lines.

How it’s delivered

Tim currently has speaking functions in both the public and private sector explaining the theory of county line supply/demand and associated exploitation. He has also delivered numerous bespoke schools presentations outlining the how county lines work and how young people are unwittingly drawn into exploitation. Working with local partners Tim will deliver bespoke action plans to cater for individual organisational responses to a county line or gang threat.
